Cheryl Myers

Owner/President

For over 30 years, Cheryl Myers has been a driving force in Delaware's real estate industry. As a native Delawarean and owner of AmeriSpec of Delaware since 1995, she has built a reputation for providing exceptional home inspection services with the highest standards of quality and value for both realtors and their clients. Cheryl's dedication extends beyond her business. She has, in the past, served on the board of directors for the Sussex Strong Foundation and the DAR convention committee. She is a tireless advocate for the real estate community in Delaware, having been recognized as Affiliate of the Year by both the New Castle and Sussex County Boards of Realtors, and previously serving as Secretary and Ways and Means Committee chair for the Sussex County Chapter Women's Council of Realtors. Cheryl Myers is more than just a successful businesswoman; she's a passionate leader and dedicated member of the Delaware community.

Lisa Roddis

Owner/Vice President

Lisa has been the co-owner and supervising inspector for AmeriSpec of Delaware since its inception in 1995. She is licensed in the states of Delaware and Maryland, holds certifications for Radon testing in both Delaware and Pennsylvania and is a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and InterNACHI. Lisa manages our team of multiple inspectors and focuses on ensuring agent/customer satisfaction. She provides free phone consultations for all agents and clients to ensure they are provided with superior value when utilizing our services.

Megan Raughley

Office Manager

With over 20 years of customer service experience, ranging from hospitality to home health care, Megan’s goal has always been to provide service with a smile. Organization, attention to detail and efficiency are what comprise her drive to provide the best experience possible. She is blessed with 4 incredible girls thanks to a beautifully blended family, and they spend any free moment they can on the water surrounded by friends and family.

Cory Gurganious

Marketing Coordinator

Cory joined the AmeriSpec family in 2019 with great excitement as the Marketing Coordinator. With a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a multitude of experience in Graphic Design, he uses his experience to expand the professional network and working relationship with our clientele. Cory has been a part of many boards throughout the state of Delaware and enjoys meeting new people every day. His free time is spent on the water; whether surfing or fishing, you can always find him near the bay or ocean.

Britteny Passannante

Customer Care Specialist

Britteny has over a decade of customer service experience in the restaurant and banking industries. Her goal is to give clients a positive experience and to assist in any way she can. Britteny is an avid animal lover with three rescue dogs of her own and loves spending time with her family and two beautiful boys.

Sarah Casalvera

Sales and Marketing

Sarah started working for AmeriSpec Inspection Services as marketing representative in April 2015 and resides in Lewes, DE with her husband, Brad Cowen. Sarah handles the follow-up calls after inspections, sends out welcome emails to new agents and makes sure our database is up to date with contact information for offices and realtors alike. If you're an agent and book an inspection, chances are Sarah will be calling you to make sure it all went well! She holds a BS from Widener University in Business Administration, is treasurer of her HOA and serves on the fundraising committee for the Boys and Girls Club in Rehoboth Beach, DE. She and her husband have 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren and another one on the way!

Shawn Thomas

With over 20 years in construction and inspections, Shawn’s combination of experience and caring are hard to find. AmeriSpec is proud to have Shawn Thomas as an expert in new construction, commercial, and general inspections.

Gerald (Bud) Johnson

With over 25 years of experience in construction, Bud started as a laborer and worked his way up to carpenter, foreman, superintendent, and operations manager. In addition to his experience in construction, he has 10 years in home maintenance and repair, 5 years in equipment rental and 2 years as a rental manager. Bud is a member of InterNACHI and joined the AmeriSpec team to utilize all his knowledge and experience to provide outstanding service to all of our clients. Bud was born and raised on the Delmarva Peninsula and has two wonderful kids, Brianna and JR. In his free time, Bud enjoys shooting pool and has been a member of APA (American Pool players Association) for 24 years. He also looks forward to days spent on the beach and time spent with family and friends.

Keith Orr

Keith is a proud, native Delawarean who has returned home after 24 years of military service and settled his family in the Pike Creek area. Among his many other duties he has extensive experience with inspections and maintenance programs on a wide array of facilities, vehicles and machinery. After his military service he owned and operated a small repair and improvement company servicing homes and commercial locations in the Northern Delaware area. Having joined the AmeriSpec team in 2016, he is happy to be in a company that supports his personal values and ethics to provide a thorough and professional home inspection with the highest standards of customer service.

Rob Graves

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force with over 25 years of construction and home improvement experience, ranging from retail installed sales management to full home remodeling. Rob’s goal is to help his customers love where they live and give the best service he can provide. Rob is blessed with 4 incredible girls, an avid outdoorsman and a softball coach for his daughters' team. He spends any free moment he gets at the beach or on the boat surrounded by friends and family.

Larry (Buc) Gibson

With over 18 years of experience in the construction field, Larry has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in home renovations and new construction and is an inspector here at AmeriSpec. Larry is outgoing, dependable, and energetic; and works great with clients to help educate them about the properties he inspects. His several passions in life are his family, friends, and work. He looks forward to performing your home inspections and will give you the insight and knowledge on future budgeting and maintaining one of the biggest investments, “your new home”.

Brett Cooper

While attending Delaware Technical and Community College in 2000, Brett was accepted into an internship at Christiana Hospital. He graduated with an Associate Degree in Fire Protection Engineering in 2003. Brett worked at Christiana Hospital for 17 years as a Life Safety Specialist and served many roles in Safety and building related inspections.
In 2014, Brett felt a need for a more hands on challenge career and went back to Del Tech to enroll in their Electronics with Biomedical Option program. In August 2017, he finished his internship hours and fulfilled all requirements for a second associate degree in Electronics with Biomedical Option.
Home inspections is a natural fit with his background; Brett always loved working with my hands and fixing things. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, and working on his 1986 El Camino.
